Alec Bradley Prensado Review

Alec Bradley Prensado has been one of the highest selling Cigars in India (apart from the Cubans). This fantastic Cigar has gained wonderful reviews from Cigar experts from across the world.

In India more than 150 Boxes containing 20 Cigars in a Box were shipped out to customers in the first three months of their launch in India by www.cigarsindia.in

Let us see what the experts are saying about this great Cigar.

Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill

Alec Bradley’s Prensado line is one that hit shelves in 2009 and enjoyed great success. In fact, it managed to earn the distinction of Cigar Aficionado’s top cigar for 2011. With that in mind, I decided to give the Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill a try with the hopes that it would live up to the hype.
Measuring in at 7 x 48, the Churchill is the largest offering in the Alec Bradley Prensado line. There are five other sizes that are available: the 5 x 50 Robusto, 5 5/8 x 46 Corona Gorda, 6 x 54 Gran Toro, 6 x 62 Double T, and the 6 1/8 x 52 Torpedo. The Prensado Churchill is filled with a blend of Honduran Trojes and Nicaraguan tobaccos. The binder is Nicaraguan as well, and a Honduran Trojes wrapper tops things off. The Alec Bradley Prensado is considered to be a full-bodied cigar.

The look of the Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill is beautiful, to say the least. The wrapper has a chocolate brown color with an oily sheen that is visible under light. The wrapper’s color is very inviting and has me yearning to go ahead and light this stogie up. A few minimal veins run up and down the wrapper and the cigar feels firm to the touch. Its box-pressed shape is done to perfection. The decorative band near the head is quite large and showcases the Alec Bradley Prensado name over intricate graphics in mostly gold and black. A final examination before lighting turns up a sweet scent and cold taste of chocolate.

Once lit, the Alec Bradley Prensado Churchill burns decently. The burn is uneven throughout the first third and is in need of a couple of touchups. After that it is pretty smooth sailing. The draw is excellent and a light-colored solid ash is formed. The Prensado Churchill also gives off a pleasant aroma.
